About Me!
Hey! I’m Jessa and I’m a current student at Florida State University, majoring in Elementary Education. I have a two year old cat named Oscar. I've played volleyball for 6 years. My favorite hobby is buying (unfortunately)and reading books. I'm a huge book worm! I also love thrifting and going on Goodwill shopping sprees.
I have some previous experience with technology and related classes. I took Digital Design courses throughout high school for 3 years. In my time taking those classes I became certified in 4 Adobe programs: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Animate. I am not, however, experienced in any Microsoft programs like Excel and PowerPoint.
My personal learning networks are generally through social media. I often use YouTube and Instagram to receive and send information. I also communicate with my friends and family. Of course, I use books as well. Strozier Library has been a great resource for me!

I admire your love for reading, I wish I was as into it as you are. It seems like a great way to destress and give your mind a break!

ReplyDeleteI find it crazy how much we have in common! I have played volleyball for six years at my high school and later joined a club volleyball team. Are you planning on joining a volleyball team here on campus?
While I used to consider myself a bookworm, I have not read a book in awhile. I would love to talk more about your favorite books and possibly get some recommendations out of you!
As if that was not enough that we have in common, I also love to thrift! While I do love buying clothes, I also enjoy walking through flea markets to find unique trinkets and vintage items.
Hey Jessa! I also love to play volleyball, even though I am way better at playing soccer, that has never stopped me from playing here and there. I have definitely considered signing up for the intramural volleyball team here I just haven't quite convinced myself to do it yet. I also am a big fan of reading, and love when I can borrow one from a friend rather than having to buy all of them (life of a broke college student ya know). Colleen Hoover is DEFINITELY my favorite but I would love to get your input on some other books to eventually venture out. I really enjoyed reading your blog post and the picture of your cat (even though I am 100% a dog person) thanks for sharing!
