Blog Journal #9

    I have really enjoyed this class so far. I have always been interested in digital design and am very passionate on making my future classroom aesthetically pleasing and cute. I have liked doing my assignments on the big desktops because it makes me more productive. Something I have disliked about the classroom experience are the Miro Boards; I rather use that time to complete blog journals and participation portfolios. When I am a teacher, something I want to implement to improve the classroom experience is a forum where students can express what they do not like about the class and ideas for change.

    Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning resources that are accessible by anyone. These resources are generally distributed online, making it even more accessible. OERs eliminate price barriers for many teachers because it is so lenient and online. In an article I found, OERs are explained and provides readers with further information on them.

    From Assignment 4, I have learned how to correctly use the Slide Master function. I found it cool that I could make my own layouts and could alter it in the Slide Master and have it automatically change in my slides. I liked familiarizing myself with PowerPoint because I regularly used Google Slides in high school. However, I did not enjoy the voice recording aspect of this assignment. I found it a little unnecessary and awkward to make.
